The petitioner is a stage carriage operator holding a regular permit on the route Chengannur-Bharanikavu. The settled timings of the said permit was issued on 24.9.03. Alleging change of circumstances on account of surrender of permits and introduction of new service, the petitioner has filed Ext.P2 application for revision of his timings. The petitioner complains that the same has not been attended to till now.
2. The learned Government pleader submits that the report has been called for, from the concerned Motor Vehicles Inspector and as soon as the same is received, Ext.P2 would be considered in accordance with law. After hearing both sides, I dispose of this writ petition with a direction to the respondent to consider Ext.P2 and pass appropriate orders thereon, if necessary by hearing others who may be affected by any orders to be passed, as expeditiously as possible, at any rate, within six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
