S. SIRI JAGAN, J.W.P.(C)NO. 14660 OF 2007
DATED THIS THE 1st DAY OF AUGUST, 2007
The petitioner is possessing a regular stage carriage permit to operate on the route Thalayad-Chamal-Thamarassery-Kozhikode. The 2nd respondent also is operating on the route Thalayad- Thamarassery-Mukkom part of which overlaps the petitioner's route. The 2nd respondent obtained variation of his permit to operate up to Kunnamkulam and the timings of the permit of the 2nd respondent was settled by Ext.P1 without notice to the petitioner. The petitioner submits that since the timings settled for the 2nd respondent clashes with the petitioner's timings, the petitioner filed Ext.P2 application for revision of his timings. The petitioner seeks expeditious consideration of Ext.P2.
2. The learned Government pleader submits that Ext.P2 is under consideration and would be disposed of as expeditiously as possible. Having heard both sides, I dispose of this writ petition directing the 1st respondent to consider Ext.P2 and pass appropriate orders as warranted by law as expeditiously as possible, at any rate, within one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
