JUDGMENT

Sri.K. Prabhakaran, Standing Counsel takes notice. The petitioner who is a retired employee of the KSRTC seeks out of turn release of his retiral benefits producing Ext.P2 wedding invitation card relating to the marriage of his daughter and Ext.P3 certificate issued by the community to which he belongs. Heard Sri.N.Ananda Rajan, counsel for the petitioner and Sri.K. Prabhakaran, Standing Counsel. I feel that Exts.P2 and P3 documents are genuine documents. I am informed that the total amount which is due to the petitioner by way of DCRG and Commuted Value of Pension comes about Rs.1,00,000/-. Under these circumstances, considering the principles laid down in WA No.1775 of 2004, the Writ Petition will stand allowed, issuing the following directions: The respondents will ensure that the petitioner gets all the amounts due to him on account of DCRG and Commuted Value of Pension at the earliest and at any rate before the 20th of April, 2007 so as to enable him to conduct the marriage of his daughter. The payment shall be made by means of a Demand Draft or any other instrument encashable at par at Aroor.
