Sirjan Maurya v. State Of U.P. And Others - WRIT - A No. 11631 of 2004 RD-AH 157 (22 March 2004)
Hon'ble Rakesh Tiwari, J.
Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record.
The grievance of the petitioner is that he was appointed as Chaukidar (Watchman) in 1980 on daily wages in the work charge establishment and is still working as such even after about 24 years and has not been regularized. A notice-dated 10.12.2003 has been sent to him informing him that he is being retired with effect from 30.6.2004 at the age of 60 years. The petitioner has made several representations to respondent no. 3 to regularize his services so that he may get pensionery benefits but the same has not been decided as yet.
Respondent no. 3 is directed to decide the representation of the petitioner by a reasoned/speaking order within two months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order before it by the petitioner.
With the above directions this writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.
