It is contended by the learned counsel for the applicant that in the present case the other co-accused persons have been acquitted, therefore, a suitable direction may be issued to the trial court to expedite the proceedings of the S.T. Nos. 974 and 977 of 1998 pending in the court of learned Sessions Judge, Saharanpur.
Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and submissions made by the learned counsel for the applicant the learned Sessions Judge, Saharanpur is directed to expedite the Sessions Trials no. 974 and 977 of 1998 without granting unnecessary adjournment.
With the above direction the application is finally disposed of.
