This testamentary case has been filed by the Administrator General, U.P. under Section 9 of the Administrator General Act, 1963 read with Chapter XXX, Rule 6 of the Rules of the Court. The Administrator General has sought Letters of Administration in respect of the estate of deceased Nand Lal son of Late Gorakh Prasad, resident of House No. C/184/630, Turkmanpur, District Gorakhpur, who had left behind him the properties worth Rs. 5 lacs namely House No. C/184/630, Turkmanpur, District Gorakhpur valued at Rs. 5 lacs with boundaries given in the affidavit of valuation.
The application was filed by Administrator General after receiving information from Sri M.L. Gupta, Advocate, 742-A Raj Kutir, Vindwasani Nagar, Bank Road, Gorakhpur stating therein that Sri Nand Lal had obtained a decree against his tenant for ejectment. The objection of Smt. Saeeda Begum in execution case was rejected. Sri Nand Lal was murdered and since his parents had died, there was no heir. The two sisters did not come forward to contest the case.
On 19.7.2006 the Court ordered as follows:
" This is an application filed by the Administrator General under Section 9 of the Administrator General Act, 1963 for grant of Letters of Administration to administer the
properties of Late Nand Lal, who it is reported was murdered, and the information of which has been given to the Administrator General by his counsel appearing in the matter. The Administrator General has ascertained the assets and has not found an heir or claimant to the escheat properties.
Let the citation be published in the news paper "Amar Ujala" within two weeks. Steps within a week.
In the facts and the circumstances, till further orders of the Court the interim administration is directed to vest in the Administrator General. He shall also seek impleadment in the pending proceeding.
The Administrator General is permitted to serve a copy of the order dated 11.11.2005 to the District Judge, the District Magistrate and the Senior Superintendent of Police, Gorakhpur for carring it out in letter in spirit.

The citation has been published in daily newspaper ''Amar Ujala' published from Varanasi on 3.8.2006. No one has filed objection to the grant of Letters of Administration.
Let the Letter of Administration be granted to the Administrator General in respect of the assets of the deceased Nand Lal son of Late Gorakh Prasad resident of House No. 742 C/184/630 Turkmanpur, District-Gorakhpur in respect of the properties given in the Schedule. The Administrator General shall proceed to administer the properties in accordance with law. The office shall issue certified copy of the order to the Administrator General by Monday free of costs.
